Ten Steps to Service with Christians in Action
The Challenge for 21st Century Missions:
To train a new wave of short-term and career overseas missionaries to carry out church-planting responsibilities.
Missions in the 21st century is much different that it was fifty years ago. New technologies have made some tasks much easier. More often today, missionaries are being sent from the nations once considered mission fields. But why are fewer new missionaries being sent from North America? God is still calling! Could it be that churches are unable to equip people who are called for missionary service? Who will train and send a new generation of missionaries fully prepared to evangelize, teach, and plant churches?

The Method:
Our method is to thoroughly and rapidly train Christians from all walks of life to be effective missionaries and send them to Gospel-starved areas around the world. CinA’s dynamic Missionary Training Course (MTC) at our International Missions Center in Woodlake, California, is designed to prepare a faithful Christian like you for effective cross-cultural evangelistic ministry.

The Plan:
We have mission fields around the world where our missionaries have been laboring for years. We need to expand these works and reach out into new areas. To do this it is necessary to train and send new missionaries. Where will these new workers be found? They will come from local churches across North America.

In the Holy Scriptures we see the pattern of churches raising up future missionaries, who were given basic ministry training in their own church; then discipled by seasoned missionaries. This is the type of person we are seeking, the person who has been proven in his own church and whom the Holy Spirit is now calling, as He did with the first foreign missionary, saying, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Acts 13:2 (NASB)

This is where you enter the MTC Program. - If you believe God is calling you into missionary service, this is your opportunity.

The Course:
The MTC program consists of several intensive instructional modules, taught consecutively, interspersed with several workshops to add essential, but not study-intensive skills.

Subjects to be covered in the classroom include, but are not limited to, the book of Acts (as a guidebook for world evangelism), History of World Missions, Comparative Religion, Practical Hermeneutics, The Ministry of Intercessory Prayer, Biblical Counseling, Time Management, Leadership, Cross-cultural Ministry, Cross-cultural Church Planting, Evangelism and Support Raising.

The Cost:
The cost of the six-week MTC is $1,050.00 per individual and $1,680.00 per couple. The basic cost covers all training materials, lodging and meals. This cost must be paid in full in order for the student to be graduated.

Upon graduation, the student will raise his necessary financial and prayer support (including passage and landing funds) by presenting his proposed field of ministry to churches and individuals. This phase is called “deputation” and will be taught as a part of the MTC program. When the proper monthly support level is reached, and enough passage money received, the candidate may be appointed as a missionary and sent to the field.
