Dear Partners in Missions,

The work of reaching, teaching and preaching the Gospel continues in countries around the world. In this newsletter you read about baptisms in rivers, prayer in the doctor’s office, and ministry to prisoners and their families. This is our heartbeat, touching people for Jesus. 

I also have exciting news on the home front in our quest to relocate CinA to Fresno, California. On February 1st we installed Dr. Gordon Donoho as the CinA Ministry Director for Fresno. Gordon is well-known in the Christian community as well as among city leaders. He has served in a variety of capacities from church senior pastor to director of an inner city development organization. He cut his ministry teeth years ago doing personal evangelism with Campus Crusade, so Gordon and his wife, Hope, are the ideal people to introduce CinA to the Fresno community. Naturally, I will be spending more of my time in the Fresno area as the work there begins to escalate.

Gordon will operate from an office in downtown Fresno until we are able to set up a separate Christians in Action office. We are hoping for a highly visible location near the Fresno State campus. As Fresno has been growing, there appears to be space available for CinA right where we want to be. Fresno offers ethnic diversity, many churches, untapped resources for missionary recruiting and an increasing interest in short-term missions. These are promising possibilities that need to be bathed in prayer and cultivated to the max. Would you join me in prayer over this wonderful opportunity that lies before us?

As we move forward in missions, we also need your financial support. I am amazed at the generosity of the saints to this ministry, but the fact remains that we continue to struggle.  As God directs you concerning your resources, I only ask that you remain faithful to His bidding. I place the needs before you, as we look to the Father for supply and we give Him praise for every gift. I must say that I am grateful to you as well. What could we do without dedicated men and women who love the Lord and who stand behind this ministry so faithfully?!  God bless you.
