Dear Partner in Missions,

On the 28th day of September 2007, Christians in Action completed its Fiftieth year of ministry. This golden anniversary is worth of the attention it is receiving. During those years we have won many victories and weathered many storms; Christ has been honored and the Gospel message preached to hundreds of thousands of lost people around the globe.

As we recount the years and remember the individuals who shaped this organization through their sincere commitment to Christ and dedication to hard work, we stand in awe and thankfulness to our wonderful God. Each one of us may revere their favorite missionary leaders of years past, but today the work is mostly accomplished by missionaries who are not in the limelight. God is using the missionary and the national pastor who stand firm for Him on the mission fields of the world.

God not only works through missionaries, but also through you in your community and in your generosity as you pray and respond to the financial needs of CinA. I mention critical needs quite frequently in this article month after month, and yet in love you listen, and pray, and give. Thank you for blessing CinA over and over again.

But some of you may say, “I haven’t heard from Christians in Action for a long time!” To help us celebrate 50 years, this letter is going far and wide to everyone who in years past may have had a connection with CinA, no matter how brief. May God tug at your heart again, encouraging you to help carry the missionary load. I consider it a privilege to be able to place this opportunity before you.

We are praying that God will stir all of our hearts again as we push forward into the next 50 years of ministry. We need you to come along with us and to help bring others into the fold.
