We have really appreciated your prayers! After some rough waves with needs in leadership staff, we have seen some miracles. How grateful we are, and we look forward to handing over more responsibility to the leaders soon.

We participated in a de-parasiting evangelistic campaign! A group from the States donated medicine and also the materials to make wordless ‘salvation bracelets.' We gave pills and bracelets to just over 300 people. On the next Saturday, over 40 people came to find out more about the meaning of the bracelets.

The medicine and bracelets enabled us to show more personal concern for the people by going the extra mile in caring for them. We also presented a skit, and the adults were given an opportunity to receive Christ. We now have some new people coming to church!

In our main church, we had a ‘Grandkid Day,’ inviting grandparents to bring their grandkids to a Sunday School party. In all we had around sixty kids, which included our regulars and new ones. The Senior Citizens group which meets twice a month was happy to receive invitations as well. And a number of them who don’t usually attend came to church with their grandchildren anyway!

Kids Club continues in both churches twice monthly! We are starting to organize mini retreats for the kids in small groups for the main church’s Club del Viernes (Friday Club). Our big problem continues to be availability and time in regard to adult leaders. People who work or study often have very limited time to help! We really want to continue holding the mini retreats to help the kids as well as try to reach the parents.

In the Fall, we plan to help some older believers purchase large-print Bibles and also to give Bibles to their neighbors around the Jose Olaya church (one per household). They will then invite their neighbors to a three part Bible study.

In addition to these activities, completion of a major project has been made possible by a church from Canada. Construction of a facility in Jose Olaya was at a standstill! We had no resources to finish the second floor and stucco the walls. What was God planning to do to help us reach the goal of completing the building? He used the Canadian church who did a fundraiser to help finish the work! Now the project is up and running again and the people are encouraged!

We are all grateful for the efforts and generosity of our fellow Christians in Canada and the United States who go the extra mile in their giving and praying. Their help provided resources to share the Gospel, bring physical relief, and complete a building that will be used for ongoing ministry! God is so good! Please continue to pray with us.
