With our focus on Germany this month, we are featuring Terry Moeller’s thirty-year ministry in that country. Church planting and development in Germany is not an easy task which is born out by the low number of Christians per capita that Terry mentions. Seen in that light, a growing church of 200 adults (like Terry’s) would compare to one much larger in the US.

Beth and I visited the German ministry two years ago during their building project. The new facility gives them room to grow and expand. They like to do outreach ministries that combine both fellowship and evangelism. Their large, modern multi-purpose room on the first floor lends itself nicely to community functions. For instance, this month their outreach will include an art exhibit for local artists with festivities that will weave in the Gospel message.

Terry is in the process of handing the pastorate over to a national leader whom he has raised up within the fellowship. After the turnover is complete and new leadership is solidly in place, Terry and Mary will be free to move on to other ministry in the States. Please be praying for this family. As Americans, they have lived longer in Germany than in their own country so this move will mean something of a cross-cultural adjustment for them. Two of their older children have already relocated to the US, which should make the transition more natural.

God has done some remarkable things through missionaries like Terry and Mary Moeller. I hope that you feel the satisfaction of ministry well done and the smile of your Heavenly Father because you play a vital role in all of this! As a CinA financial and prayer partner, you are key to the life and outreach of this organization; God is pleased with your faithfulness. I too feel so blessed when I think of the teamwork and the generosity that you demonstrate toward CinA.
