  Medical Missions in Macau
by John and Suzanna Hyrons, Missionaries

Dr. Wong, a member of our pastoral staff, will be starting a senior citizen free medical and counselling service once a month for the residents of a building complex and for others in the neighborhood who would be interested. Hope Medical Clinic is partnering with us to provide doctors for this work. Andrew Luk, a professor in nursing, and Sue Yeung, RN, who are from our church, will assist in the ministry. The people will receive basic medical check ups, like blood pressure and blood sugar checks. We will be there to give spiritual guidance and encouragement to all those in need.

This new outreach has already been approved by medical department of Macau and the launch date will be Saturday, April 1. We would appreciate your prayers for this outreach which will be an avenue whereby we can share the Good News!

John Hyrons works through a prison ministry in Macau, South China, to have Bible studies with inmates. These children have at least one parent in prison, but here we see smiles thanks to special Christmas gifts provided by the group.

Dr. Wong, seated (front center) with his wife, Yolanda, standing on the left and Dave Konold seated on the right, will be opening up a special medical service for senior citizens in Macau. Standing behind him are CinA missionaries John and Suzanna Hyrons (r.) and David and Rachel Wong with their two children. David is pastor of the CinA church in Macau. John Hyrons was one of the pioneer missionaries who opened up this field for CinA in the early 1970’s.
