  Dear Friend of CinA

In this issue of you have read about the anatomy of a mission field and how it was planted, watered and brought to maturity – God giving the increase.

Our field of Sierra Leone stands as an excellent example of the way missions is meant to be. It is wonderful to see and hear how nationals have caught the vision and carried on with the ministry.

With many people working long hours at different times over thirty-five years, God has established His church there in West Africa.

We still have much to learn in training and sending missionaries and overseeing the national ministries spread out in many countries, but God is faithful and seems to make up for our shortcomings.

You also have come alongside with necessary resources to keep CinA in full operation. We can't do it without you. Your role as a "sender" is not unlike the gentle rain that falls to nourish and strengthen the organization.

You are very much appreciated, not only by thousands who have been blessed by the Gospel and encouraged by missionaries, but also from heaven as the Lord sees your heartbeat for missions.

May God continue to use us—you and CinA—as a team in the critical days ahead.

  Sincerely in Christ,

  David W. Konold
