Christians in Action

Christians in Action is an international, interdenominational, and trans-cultural evangelical missionary society with ministries in 21 countries. Its 300 ministry personnel, with the goal of planting indigenous national churches, carry out personal evangelism, discipleship and church planting. Other activities include short-term evangelistic teams and medical and dental clinics in needy areas. The Christians in Action Missions Center near Woodlake, California serves as the international headquarters and USA missionary training base.

To proclaim the Gospel to the Nations by:

Preparing and Sending Missionaries
Personal Evangelism
Planting Indigenous Churches
Empowering National Leaders

Maximize our Gospel witness in spiritually needy countries around the world by:

Developing and expanding our existing 21 field ministries
Opening three new fields in the next two years
Increasing our short-term medical and evangelistic teams from an average of five to at least ten each year and
Encouraging foreign missionary preparation and sending from North America as well as from our fields.

We believe the Bible to be the only, inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
