Evangelism
Evangelism is the Heartbeat of Missions. Jesus first & final commands to His disciples call for evangelism: fishers of men & men & the Great Commission. Matt 4:19; 28:18-20. Christians in Action understands "evangelism" as presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a way that men and women will accept Him as Savior and serve Him as Lord in the fellowship of His church.
Outreach & Relief
Christians in Action specializes in person-to-person witnessing, yet remains flexible concerning the use of specific methods. Community support to physically needy people can open the door to effective evangelism and church planting. Matt. 25:31-46; Gal 2:10; Jas. 1:26-2:5
Church Planting
The aim of Christians in Action missionary outreach is to establish autonomous, interdependent churches under national leadership. Establishing churches is God's method to provide a base for new believers to grow in Christ, find their own places of service and carry on the job winning the lost. Matt 16:18; Col 1:18; Eph 5:25. The church planting missionary cycle is complete when the new church also holds a vision of world evangelism. Acts 1:8; 19:9, 1; 2 Tim 2:2.
CinA Missionary Training.
Christians in Action offers a specialized training program designed to quickly, yet thoroughly, equip men and women for effective missionary service. In addition to our own missionary training, Christians in Action offers missionary candidate course for those who have already received appropriate training or ministry experience elsewhere. Christians in Action encourages further education when it is necessary to enhance a missionary's ministry skills.
Preparing Nationals for Leadership.
Christians in Action emphasizes the training of national leaders through such means as personal discipling, their own national schools, and by using existing training institutions.
